Double Donington Delight For Hillspeed With Podiums For Bouzinelos And Hallman
Australia’s Peter Bouzinelos produced his drive of the season in round 18 of the GB3 Championship partnered by the BRDC at Donington Park Grand Prix Circuit on Sunday, 6th September, by racing to the first podium finish of his rookie year with a richly deserved second place for Hillspeed.
Starting the final GB3 race of the event from fourth on the grid, Bouzinelos – who has endured some torrid luck this year – produced excellent pace and racecraft to climb into second and finish the race just 0.7 seconds shy of victory. On a strong weekend, he took ninth and eighth in the previous two contests.
Dante Vinci and Aurelia Nobels each encountered some frustrations across the meeting’s three GB3 encounters, the Hillspeed team-mates both taking away their best results of the weekend in the last race with 12th and 13th place respectively.
In the GB4 Championship partnered by the BRDC, Enzo Hallman chalked-up his fifth podium of the year in round 17 on Sunday morning by taking third place, having finished fourth in round 16 on Saturday, 5th September, where he missed fastest lap by just 0.2 seconds. Connor Willis took a best of fifth in a Safety Car interrupted round 18 while Demitri Nolan secured his highest placing of 12th in round 17.
