FREDDIE SLATER
Age: 16
Nationality: British
Following a magnificent career in karts, where he won no fewer than nine titles including the 2020 OK Junior World Championship and 2021 OK Junior FIA Karting European Championship, Freddie stepped into cars in the 2022 Ginetta Junior Winter Series.
Becoming the youngest ever winner of the title at just 14-years-of-age, he then went on to dominate the main Ginetta Junior Championship the following year with 13 victories from 18 races. Moving into single-seaters midway through 2023 in British F4, he became a race winner in the Euro 4 Championship and took a podium in F4 at the Macau Grand Prix.
In addition to winning the FIA European KZ2 Karting Championship that year as well, Freddie was voted the Autosport National Driver of the Year. He then won his third car racing title, first in single-seaters, in the Formula 4 UAE Championship in the Middle East in early 2024.
He then embarked on a full campaign in Italian F4, winning the title with 15 victories – a new record – and the biggest ever points margin. Freddie also gained some GB3 Championship experience last year with a debut outing at Donington Park Grand Prix Circuit, a best finish of fourth.
