the quest for sustained excellence
Multiple race-winning and championship-winning team Hillspeed truly is part of the fabric of UK motorsport. Renowned as one of the country’s most professional and successful teams, for over 50 years the Derbyshire squad has been at the forefront in every championship it has contested.
Winning titles in Formula Renault, Ginetta Junior and at Formula 3 level too, Hillspeed has enjoyed huge success over the past five decades from its roots in the British Saloon Car Championship [now BTCC] in 1970, through to the present day in the GB3 Championship, the successor to British F3, and the GB4 Championship.
Led by team principal Richard Ollerenshaw, son of Hillspeed founder Morgan Ollerenshaw, the squad has a star reputation for consistently providing the highest standards of preparation and impeccable driver development.
One glance at the list of drivers who have progressed through Hillspeed’s ranks tells you all you need to know about the quality of the team’s ability to nurture, hone and develop young talent – names like Seb Morris, Tom Ingram, Alice Powell, Oman’s Ahmad Al Harthy and Chinese driver Cheng Congfu.
Based at state-of-the-art premises in Markham Vale, centrally located just off the M1 motorway in the heart of the UK, Hillspeed’s future looks every bit as bright as the glittering successes which have filled the past 50-plus years.
