Ideal stepping stone to Formula 3 racing
Inaugurated in 2013, the BRDC Formula 4 Championship was popular from the outset and Hillspeed was one of the first teams to enter the maiden season.
Fielding an impressive three-car entry of Seb Morris, Struan Moore and Rahul Raj Mayer, Morris went on to end the season as Vice-Champion with one victory and nine other podiums. Moore, too, was a race winner and multiple podium finisher.
Hillspeed remained front-runners in BRDC F4 during the next two years, running impressive young international drivers such as India’s Ameya Vaidyanathan, Oman’s Faisal Al Zubair and Brazil’s Gustavo Lima.
The championship ultimately morphed into BRDC British Formula 3 for the 2016 season.
