Making waves on its debut in the Ginetta GT Supercup in 2013, featuring the powerful Ginetta G55 sportscar, Hillspeed helped to steer its Ginetta Junior graduate Pepe Massot to fifth in the overall championship standings in their maiden season in the series.
Taking two race victories and seven other podiums, the Spaniard showed the merits of the team’s superb driver development and also Hillspeed’s continued ability to hit the ground running in any championship.
While the team’s involvement in Ginetta GT Supercup only lasted for a single campaign with Massot, the impact Hillspeed made was certainly eye-catching and headline-grabbing.
