The ideal first step for young drivers
Few debuts have been better or more impressive than Hillspeed’s arrival in the new era of Ginetta Junior racing in 2010 – the first season with the revamped Ginetta G40 car.
Winning the overall championship with Tom Ingram, the springboard from which Ingram has gone on to carve out an impressive career in the British Touring Car Championship, the team also added Winter Series glory in 2010 with a 14-year-old Seb Morris.
Morris, who went on to become a factory driver for British manufacturer Bentley in GT racing, made it back-to-back main season titles for Hillspeed in 2011. The team’s tenure in Ginetta Junior was packed with success, developing numerous star drivers including Struan Moore and Pepe Massot.
