Kanato will race in the GB3 Championship with Hillspeed this year during three events, the season curtain-raiser at Silverstone GP Circuit, the visit to Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium and the rounds at Brands Hatch GP Circuit. The talented teenager fits the GB3 outings in with his main 2025 campaign in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.
After a strong karting career, Kanato made his car racing debut in 2022 in Ginetta Junior where he was a double race winner. Moving to single-seaters the following year he raced in the F4 UAE Championship, F4 British Championship – becoming a race winner on two occasions – and then, in 2024, stepped-up to Formula Regional and also made a one-off outing in GB3.
