Karting sensation Marcus graduated into single-seater car racing at the beginning of 2024 as a privateer in the GB4 Championship. Making an immediate impact against the top teams, at only the second event of the season at Silverstone GP Circuit he enlisted the assistance of Hillspeed and duly raced to his maiden podium – in only his fourth car race.
During the third meeting of the campaign at Donington Park GP Circuit, Marcus and Hillspeed signed a deal for him to make the step-up into GB3 – starting at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.
From Lichfield in Staffordshire, Marcus began karting in 2017 and starred in IAME Euro Series Junior X30 in 2019 where he finished third overall. In 2021 he won the Bruno Ferrari Cup at the Kartmasters GP, claimed the Junior X30 Autumn Cup and then in 2022 also won the X30 Winter Cup in Spain.
