Outstanding Television Package Revealed For GB3 And GB4

Leading single-seater team Hillspeed has warmly welcomed what it says is a ‘remarkable’ new television and streaming package for this season’s GB3 Championship partnered by the BRDC, and the sister GB4 Championship, after it was revealed by series organiser MotorSport Vision.

As part of ramped-up coverage for 2022, every GB3 and GB4 race will be broadcast live – offering fantastic exposure for drivers and their commercial partners – with free of charge viewing available through YouTube, the category Facebook pages and official championship websites.

Hayfisher Productions, which has a long-standing partnership with GB3 and its predecessor category’s going back to the British Formula 3 Championship, will provide the race content from the meetings which are run alongside the Intelligent Money British GT Championship.

In addition, an exciting new agreement has been signed with Onside Productions which will provide a full TV-style broadcast for each and every GB3 and GB4 event in the UK this year. Including build-up and post-race analysis, delivering more in-depth detail about the racing, the drivers and the teams than ever before, these live broadcasts will also feature special pre-recorded segments too.

Jon Jackson, a leading presenter on the talkSPORT national radio station, will front the new programming with reports from the pits and paddock. He will be joined by commentator Lewis McGlade, who has recently been providing his services to the world of esports.

GB3’s post-produced packages, which will continue to be overseen by Hayfisher with commentary from vastly experienced motorsport specialist David Addison, will move to the Sky Sports F1 Channel where the FIA Formula 3 Championship and FIA Formula 2 Championship are also screened.

All told, the new TV and online streaming package for GB3 and GB4 provides an exceptional offering for drivers moving up into single-seaters for the first time and also those who have already begun to climb the car racing ladder.
