British F3 Squad Hillspeed Announces Winter Testing Programme
On the eve of the final race meeting of the 2020 BRDC British Formula 3 Championship season at Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit this weekend, top team Hillspeed has announced its annual winter test schedule for drivers eyeing the category next year.
As the Markham Vale squad prepares to contest the last three races of the current campaign at the world-famous Northamptonshire track on Saturday and Sunday, team boss Richard Ollerenshaw is delighted to be in a position to confirm a planned 10 date UK-based winter testing programme.
Including all of the country’s premier circuits, the schedule put in place can be tailored as a fully structured multi-day programme for drivers or individual days can be allocated too. Importantly, for overseas drivers, accommodation packages are available.
As a team renowned for its exceptional driver development, Hillspeed is focused on helping to build the careers of talented young racers, whether straight from karting into BRDC British F3 or with some single-seater or car racing experience already behind them.
Starting out at Donington Park in Leicestershire on Thursday, 12th November and Friday, 13th November, the team then heads to Snetterton in Norfolk for two days of testing on Wednesday, 18th November, and Thursday, 19th November.
Cheshire’s Oulton Park will be visited on Tuesday, 24th November, and Wednesday, 25th November, with Silverstone the destination on Thursday, 26th November and Friday, 27th November – the first of the Silverstone dates is currently provisional. Finally, there will be a return to Snetterton for Wednesday, 2nd December, and Thursday, 3rd December.
